Local authorities across the state of Ohio are working closely with Columbus to prepare the state for any Coronavirus outbreak. Most experts agree that the numbers of those affected will increase, as they do during flu season, but caution that there is no reason to panic over the potential harm.
Governor Mike DeWine met with county health officials Wednesday. Locally, school officials are in contact and formulating plans to respond should the outbreak become a problem. The Toledo/Lucas County Health Commissioner Eric Zgodzinski said. "If you're scared, you're not prepared. You need to make sure you're not in a panic, you're not always thinking about this," "Do you put it to the side where it's going to happen? It's maybe not going to happen here, but it's going to be further in the United States, so let's be prepared in case it does happen here,"
