Man Charged With Lying To Investigators In Connection To Terror Plot

TOLEDO, Ohio - The man arrested Monday in connection to a domestic terror plot has been charged with lying to investigators.

WTOL 11 reports Vincent Armstrong, 23, was charged Wednesday in a Toledo courtroom with making false statements to law enforcement officials.

Armstrong was arrested as part of an investigation into his girlfriend Elizabeth Lacron, who is accused of plotting a mass killing at a Toledo bar. Lacron was arrested last week. Officials also ruled Armstrong should remain in custody during the investigation into the plot, determining him to be a danger to the public.

In a search of the house Armstrong shared with Lacron, investigators found multiple handguns, a shotgun, an AK-47, ammunition and materials for the construction of pipe bombs. They believe the items were purchased by Armstrong.
