TOLEDO, Ohio - ProMedica has announced they will layoff about 100 employees.
WTOL 11 reports the company will eliminate positions in corporate functions and management. About 60 positions that are currently vacant will not be filled.
In a statement, the company cited a number of challenges facing the healthcare industry including rising operational costs and decreasing reimbursement rates.
