Actor Kelsey Grammer is featured in a TV ad backing Marsy’s Law, also known as Issue One.
In the ad, Grammer tells voters his father was shot and killed at age 38 and his sister later raped and murdered when she was 18. But Grammer's family was never notified when his father's killer got out of prison.
Issue One would establish constitutional rights for crime victims, including such notification.
Grammer is a five-time Emmy winner and best known for the TV show "Frasier", a spinoff of his character from the TV sitcom "Cheers."
